ST. CLOUD - A home for kids with emotional, behavioral and chemical dependency issues will see a significant expansion.

Clara's House, run by St. Cloud Hospital, provides special care for over 300 youth, ages 5-18, every year.

The center will add an extra 9,000 square feet with specially dedicated space for the therapeutic creative arts program, designed to help kids express their feelings following abuse, neglect, death of a loved one and other life-altering situations.

$1.9  million has already been raised, with the project expected to cost $2.2 million total. The expansion is expected to be completed in the summer of 2012.
