Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 at St. Marcus Catholic Church in Clear Lake for Clara R. Doble, 82 of Clearwater who passed away on Tuesday at Quiet Oaks Hospice House. Rev. Virgil Helmin will officiate and burial will be at the parish cemetery. Friends and relatives may call from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at St. Marcus Catholic Church in Clear Lake and also one hour prior to services at the church in Clear Lake on Friday. Parish prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. at the church on Thursday. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Clear Lake.

Clara was born on August 18, 1934 in Browerville to Charles and Katherine (Kaluza) Gmyrek. She attended and graduated from St. Catherine’s University and was a Registered Nurse. Clara was married to Wallace “Wally” Doble on August 24, 1957 in Browerville. The couple spent many years of their married life in Minneapolis, where Clara worked at St. Mary’s Hospital, now Fairview Hospital. She then worked for the Minneapolis VA Hospital where she later retired. Clara was a member of St. Marcus Catholic Church in Clear Lake and sang in St. Kevin’s and Our Lady of Peace church choirs. She also volunteered in many activities. Clara enjoyed golfing, singing at churches for weddings and other events and being with her family. She was a great companion, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband Wally of Clearwater; sons and daughter, Charles (Vicki) of Winter Garden, FL, David (Ronda) of Minneapolis and Sandra (Jarrett) Anderson of Rochester; sisters and brother, Marge (Roger) Reamer of Minneapolis, JoAnn Macko of Beacon Falls, CT and James (Dorothy) Gmyrek of St. Louis Park; grandchildren, Ashley (Rhett), Andrew (Rachel), Mathew, Gregory, Alec and Evan; and great grandchildren, Charlie and Aubrey. She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Catherine Lynn in 2009.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a charity of the donor’s choice.
