Clairmont Guy Keeler, 98, of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Elim Home in Princeton.

Clairmont was born on January 11, 1917 in Princeton, MN, the son of Ira and Mary Violet (Orrock) Keeler. He was united in marriage to Evelyn Sturdevant on January 28, 1939 in Princeton. The couple lived in Santiago before moving to a farm near Princeton. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for numerous construction businesses including Alferness, Barton and Ken Retzlaff. He also farmed. Clairmont was the oldest member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He also was the caretaker and sexton of St. Francis River Cemetery for over 20 years. His faith and family were very important to him. In his spare time, Clairmont enjoyed gardening, canning, sharing his vegetables, camping and campfires.

He is survived by his daughter Audrey (Richard) Davidson; grandchildren Rick Davidson and Kellie Davidson; great-grandsons Travis Davidson and Connor Davidson; along with several nieces and nephews and other friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Evelyn; son James; brothers, Edgar, Albert, Harold and Carold; sisters, Jeanette Harshman, Myrtle McDonald and Florence George; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Princeton. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 from 5-7PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, as well as one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be in St. Francis River Cemetery in Glendorado Township.
