Claire M. Peckham, 83, St. Cloud

Claire Margaret Peckham, age 83, St. Cloud, MN died Monday, September 4, 2017 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11:30 AM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN.

Claire was born September 9, 1933 in Sheboygan, WI to Adam and Cecelia (Stahl) Goebel. She married John Richard “Dick” Peckham on June 4, 1955 in Sheboygan, WI. Claire was a registered nurse and worked at Fairview Hospital in Princeton, MN and St. Mary’s Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. She loved gardening, watching birds, reading, taking walks and especially spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Marc (Sandy) Peckham of Boston, MA; Michelle (David) Waldoch of Lino Lakes, MN; Jennifer (Mick Parent) Maytum of Minneapolis, MN; Dean (Sildia) Peckham of Elk River, MN; Adam (Kimberly Ann) Peckham of St. Cloud, MN; sister, Patricia (Ron) Halverson of Sheboygan, WI; sister-in-law, JoAnn Goebel; and ten grandchildren, Lindsey and Haley Peckham, Leia and Marissa Waldoch, Zach and Kurt Melby, Wyatt, Lauren and Ellen Peckham, and Matthew Peckham.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dick Peckham on July 27, 2004, brother, Ron Goebel and an infant brother, William.
