Chutes Advance To Regional Tourney With Monday Win

The St. Cloud Chutes fell in the American Legion state championship game, but still advance to the Central Plains Regional tournament.

The Chutes beat Excelsior in a morning game by a 7-3 final score, which secured them a berth in the regional, before losing 5-1 to Lakeville North in the state championship.

The Chutes will take on PI Midwest of Omaha on Thursday in Fargo.
