ST. CLOUD -- Chipotle lovers will have to go one day without eating lunch at the popular Mexican food chain next month.

The Denver-based chain Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. will be closing all stores on February 8th.

Spokesperson Danielle Moore says the company is hosting a national team meeting to thank their employees for their hard work, discuss some of the food safety changes the company is implementing and answer questions from employees.

The move comes after a serious E.coli outbreak at many of their locations in October then a norovirus outbreak in Boston in early December.The Minnesota Department of Health says their was confirmed cases in the Twin Cities, Rochester, Mankato and St. Cloud.

Moore says the restaurants will be closed for lunch and will re-open at 3:00 p.m. Stores typically open at 11 a.m.
