Child Hurt in Avon Crash

A six year old child was listed in serious condition after a two vehicle crash on County Road 54 in Avon Township about Noon Saturday.
Stearns County Sheriff’s officials say a vehicle driven by 16-year old Rachel Odenthal of Albany apparently crossed over the center line going east and struck a vehicle driven by 26- year old Misty Byland of Albany heading west. Byland had a 6 year old passenger with her at the time of crash. All parties were taken to Saint Cloud Hospital and the crash remains under investigation.
