Child Dies In Itasca County House Fire

GRAND RAPIDS, (AP) - Authorities say a small child has died in a fire at a home in Itasca County.

The sheriff's department says two adults were injured in the fire at a home in Harris Township. They were taken to Grand Itasca Medical Center Sunday night.

The child's age and identity have not been released. Two fire departments, several ambulance services, sheriff's deputies, the Minnesota State Patrol, and State Fire Marshal's Office responded to the scene about 9:30 p.m.
