Cheryl A. (Botzek) Froemming, Sauk Rapids, 61

Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids for Cheryl A. Froemming, age 61, who passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday at her home. Rev. Harvey Ehlers will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church. Trinity Lutheran prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Cheryl was born July 2, 1953 in St. Cloud to Arthur & Marjorie (Mendel) Botzek. She worked in outside sales support for Walters-Kluwer and at Michael’s Craft Store. Cheryl also worked as a flight attendant for Compas Airlines for three years. She always went out of her way to make people feel welcome and showed her patriotism by recognizing servicemen and women on her flights. Cheryl was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was involved in the Altar Guild. She was a kind, compassionate person who was very social. Family and friends were very important to her. Cheryl enjoyed traveling to Mexico, going to the lake, fishing and shopping. She was also a great cook and was very talented in arts and crafts.

Survivors include her mother, Marjorie Botzek of Sartell; sister and brother, Jackie (Doug) Peterschick of Sartell and Michael (Patricia) Botzek of Willmar and nephews and niece, Christopher Herges of St. Cloud, Adam Herges of Sioux Falls, SD and Amber (Scott) Doering of Kerkhoven. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Arthur; and sister, Diane Botzek.
