CHASKA (AP) - Chaska High School sent students home following a lockdown over a threat.

Administrators emailed parents about 8 a.m. Tuesday that the school was locked down because a threat was received. The school tweeted that everyone was OK. School officials did not give details about what kind of threat was received.

The school later said classes were canceled because of the disruption caused by the threat.

Police inspected vehicles in the school's parking lot.
