Charlotte Ann Ramsey, 75

December 20, 1941 - January 7, 2017

Home in Cold Spring, MN for Charlotte Ann Ramsey, age 75 who died Saturday at Talahi Nursing Home. Inurnment will be in the St. Boniface parish cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call one hour prior to services at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring.

Charlotte was born in Pueblo, CO to Ernest and Charlotte (Pritchard) Cowlishaw. She married Stanley Ramsey on June 1, 1962. They had five children with one child not living very long. The marriage later ended in divorce. Charlotte received both her Bachelors of Science Degrees in Anthropology and Archaeology from Central Washington University in 1983. She moved to the St. Cloud area in 1984 and loved the people so much, she made Minnesota her home state. Charlotte loved reading, old movies, visiting family, friends, drinking coffee, sewing and watching documentaries about King Tutankhamun.

Survivors include by her children, Julie Ramsey, James (Angela) Ramsey, Lisa (Joseph) Knutson; sister, Jane (Paul) Litteral; grandchildren, Michelle Kruchten, Cierra Ramsey, Michael Kruchten; great-grandchildren, Jacob Shadley, Richard Shadley; nieces and nephews, Shari, Vicki, Paul, Mark Litteral and a nanny to Bethany, Cathy and Andrew Plas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; younger brother, James L. Cowlishaw and her son, Richard Charles Ramsey.
