Charles Lloyd Wessel, age 77 of Princeton, passed away at his home March 6, 2016. Charles was born on March 20, 1938 in Blue Earth, MN the son of Carl and Bernadine (Smith)Wessell.

He was united in marriage to Arlys Ann Kurth on March 12, 1970 in St. Joseph, MN. Charles enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends.

He is survived by his son Robert (Kim) Wessel, step-daughter Perian (Randy Egge) Fischer and step-son Thomas (LaVaye) Dressen; Siblings Delores Shappell, Kenneth (JoAnn) Wessel, James (Jan) Weller, Ronald (Barb) David, Howard (Marcia) Haase; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Arlys; parents, Carl and Bernadine; and brother Gordon Wessel.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1PM on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Princeton. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home. Interment will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Princeton.
