ISANTI  (AP) - Charges are expected this week against a man accused of shooting another man in the face outside the Isanti Police Department.

Officers say an apparent road rage incident on Highway 65 near the station prompted the shooting.

Authorities say the altercation involved two motorcyclists and a man driving a car. Police didn't say who called for help, but they ended up in the police station's parking lot about 4 p.m. Saturday.

Officials say the argument escalated to a fight and one of the men pulled a gun and shot one of the other men in the face.  The shooting victim was airlifted to the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. His condition was not available.
