BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (AP) - Authorities say a woman who crashed into a truck in Bloomington, killing a city worker, was guzzling vodka before the crash and talked of ending her life.

Twenty-four-year-old Marie Hall was charged Wednesday with murder and other counts. Authorities estimate she was going about 80 mph when she hit the truck on Jan. 28, killing 38-year-old Tyler Lenort, who was assisting with snow removal. Another public works employee was injured.

The criminal complaint says Hall told authorities she was distraught over events in her life and was speeding to "end all."

A Hennepin County Attorney's Office spokesman said the murder charge was filed because Hall's acts were egregious and she had no regard for anyone.

It wasn't immediately clear if Hall had an attorney to comment.
