ST. CLOUD - It's Give to the Max day - a 24 hour time window where your online donation to your favorite organization or school can be doubled - and local nonprofits have gathered together to promote it.

In order to get the word out, representatives from central Minnesota non-profits are set up with computers in the Food Court at Crossroads Center to help mall-goers fit charitable giving into their shopping days.

Melissa Rupar is the Development Associate for Anna Marie's Alliance. She says they'll talk with you about the work of each organization and help you figure out how to donate.

Rupar says they'll be at the mall until 9:00 p.m. but Give to the Max lasts through midnight.

Last year, "Give to the Max" day brought in over $13 million dollars throughout Minnesota.
