UNDATED - There has been a wide range of significant weather events on this date, November 1st, here in central Minnesota.

It's hard to believe but there was a tornado recorded on November 1st, 2000.  The National Weather Service says the F1 tornado touched down on a farm east of Prinsburg in Kandiyohi County. It destroyed a small storage shed. It also tipped another shed on its side, and ripped off a portion of the roof on a third shed.

It was a windy day on this date back in 1999.  The St. Cloud State University Meteorology Department recorded a 65 mile an hour gust.  Across central Minnesota there were sustained winds between 40 and 50 miles an hour.

Classes were cancelled across the state in 1991, due to the on going Halloween blizzard. Three foot drifts were measured across Interstate 94 from St. Cloud to the Twin Cities.
