ST. CLOUD -- The Central Minnesota Community Foundation received a record number of donations in 2013.

The organization announced they received about $18.2-million in the last six months of the year.

The foundation collected $16.2-million in the month of December alone bringing their total assets to more than $100-million--a first for the organization.

Foundation president Steve Joul says, "what was different this year was the sheer number of gifts by both existing and new donors."

The foundation has  been able to set up 25 new funds with the donations. The organization was founded in 1985 and administers more than 550 charitable funds.
