ST. CLOUD -- CentraCare is offering a limited number of free skin cancer screenings Monday as part of Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention Month.

The screenings are part of a national campaign to encourage early detection and teach prevention of skin cancer which is the most common form of cancer in the U.S.

The free screenings will take place on Monday which has been tabbed "Melanoma Monday" to raise awareness of malignant melanoma -- the medical term for skin cancer.

If you'd like a free screening Monday, you must call tomorrow for an appointment. Walk-ins will not be accepted.

To make an appointment, call CentraCare at 229-4924 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
