ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud residents strapped on their dancing shoes tonight (Tuesday) as part of CentraCare Health's 6th Annual "Day of Dance" event.

The event was held at the River's Edge Convention Center as part American Heart Month.

Deb Hall is the Director of Outpatient and Outreach at CentraCare Health. She says the event is a way to get people up and moving around.

"During the winter months we get locked up in our houses, so we wanted to put on an event that really featured people taking action for their heart," says Hall.

Throughout the night guests enjoyed many family friendly activities.

"We are an alcohol-free event so you can bring your families, we have a mock-tini bar, and lots of healthy snacks," says Hall.

Those in attendance danced to music from the Fabulous Armadillos, and also got to take a picture in a convertible.

Hall says over 100 hospitals with do some sort of event this week, as part of their Spirit of Women programming.
