ST. CLOUD -- With the local economy making a come back, employers are looking to hire at the 17th Annual St. Cloud Area Job Fair today (Tuesday) at the River's Edge Convention Center.

The event is organized by the Minnesota Workforce Center/Job Services.

Linda Yozamp is the Manager of the Workforce Center/Job Service and says the job fair differs from others.

From 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. today job seekers can meet with potential employers and discuss current, or future, job openings.

Around 66 employers are site, and Yozamp says applicants should come prepared by having copies of their resume, and treat today like an interview.

The event is free.. Last years job fair brought in 1,300 applicants.  Yozamp expects to have over 1,000 applicants again this year.
