Catholic Charities to Host St. Joseph Bicycle Ride for Children’s Home

ST. JOSEPH -- Grab your bicycle, round up the kids and head out to the Lake Wobegon trail this weekend.

The 11th annual Lake Wobegon Trail Ride in St. Joseph begins tomorrow (Saturday) with check in at 8:30 a.m. and the ride starting at 9:00 a.m. This ride is not considered a race but rather a family fun event.

Anyone can register for the event, pre-registration ride donation is $30 and $35 on Saturday.

There are five different route options, you can ride from St. Joseph to Avon (9 miles one way), St. Joseph to Albany (15.9 miles one way), St. Joseph to Freeport (21.2 miles one way), St. Joseph to Melrose (27.2 miles one way) or St. Joseph to Sauk Centre (36.7 miles one way).

All donations will go toward supporting Catholic Charities' St. Cloud Children's Home.

This year's goal is to raise $100,000.
