ST. CLOUD -- As the weather heats up the need for fans at Catholic Charities Emergency Services is on the rise. Communications coordinator Trina Dietz says many of their clients don't have air conditioning and money is tight.

Dietz says there is always a need for more new and gently used fans.

They will accept all different types of fans but they have a greater need for fans that are adjustable.

With school out for the summer they are also in need of food. Dietz says you should think about donating things that older children who are home alone could prepare for themselves like macaroni and cheese and peanut butter and jelly.

Donations can be dropped off at their Emergency Services location at 157 Roosevelt Road in St. Cloud.
