Cathedral: Baseball Advances, Softball Season Ends

The Cathedral baseball team beat Osakis 6-4 Thursday night in a Section 6AA playoff game at Dick Putz Field.

Steven Neutzling hit a home run to win the game in the seventh for Cathedral, and Dominc Austing pitched six strong innings.

Cathedral softball was eliminated in the Section 6AA playoffs by Staples-Motley. The Crusaders won game one 4-0, but fell to a late rally and lost game two 7-2.
