Austin Poganski dominated for a second straight game as the Crusaders rolled past Princeton at the MAC Saturday afternoon.

Crusaders junior forward Austin Poganski scored five goals and added an assist for good measure in Cathedral's 7-2 win over Princeton in a Section 5A semifinal Saturday. The North Dakota recruit scored five goals and tallied seven assists in Tuesday's win over Mora.

Cathedral took a 2-1 lead on a power play late in the first period on Poganski's first goal of the game. The junior scored on a laserbeam of a shot that went in and out of the net in a flash after hitting the back bar.

Poganski got another power play goal in the second period with just over three minutes remaining to give Cathedral a 4-1 lead at the second intermission. The Crusaders outshot the Tigers 13-3 in the second and led the shot category 19-10 through two periods.

Poganski added three more goals in the third period, two short handed and another on a power play, to distance Cathedral from the Tigers.

The Crusaders will play the winner of Rogers and Hermantown, scheduled for later on Saturday.
