The Starbuck and Morris Police Departments are warning the public about very potent prescription medications that were stolen during a pharmacy burglary. One overdose is reportedly connected to the stolen drugs. The Starbuck Police Department responded to a report of a burglary at Samuelson’s Drug Store on Tuesday, September 16.

Hearing Set For Man Accused Of Kidnapping In Wright County

An omnibus hearing and a bail hearing have been set for next month in Wright County District Court for the Hutchinson man charged with kidnapping a Wright County man who remains missing. 28-year-old Robert Otis Nuttall appeared in court Friday, where the judge set the omnibus and bail hearings for October 1st.

UPDATE: VA To Investigate Whether Data Was Falsified

The inspector general for the Department of Veterans Affairs will investigate allegations that the appointment records of a retired Marine were falsified to cover up delays in patient care at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. Cathy Gromek, spokeswoman for the VA's Office of Inspector General in Washington, says she's not sure when the investigation will be finished.

Rochester Man Charged In Fatal DWI Crash

Vehicular homicide charges have been filed against a man accused of driving the wrong way on a Rochester street while intoxicated and causing a fatal crash. Court records say 57-year-old Gerald Mohs had a blood alcohol content of more than twice the legal limit and hadn't had a valid driver's license for decades.

Man Pleads Guilty In 2nd Body In Trunk Case

A 25-year-old man has been given a life sentence after pleading guilty to killing a second woman in the Twin Cities. Alberto Palmer pleaded guilty in Hennepin County Monday to first-degree murder in the killing of 24-year-old Klaressa Cook in 2013. Her body was found in a car towed to an impound lot in Minneapolis.
