SCSU Hockey Celebration Set For Wednesday Night

St. Cloud State University's athletics department is inviting fans of all ages to celebrate the success of this season's hockey team at the NHEC on Wednesday afternoon at 5:00 pm.

E-Bingo For Stadium Funding Has Technical Glitch

The electronic bingo games which will help fund a new Minnesota Vikings stadium have been shut down while a malfunction is fixed. The company producing the games that are being tested in a half dozen bars and restaurants says the bingo screen sometimes displayed a random image when a new player logged on to the game.

Hanowski Scores But Wild Top Flames Monday

Less than a week after playing for SCSU in the Frozen Four in Pittsburgh, Little Falls native Ben Hanowski made his NHL debut for the Calgary Flames and scored a goal in a 4-3 loss.

Twin Explosions at Boston Marathon Finish Line [UPDATED]

9 p.m. (EST): The final press conference of the day with Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis and various other officials just concluded. The FBI is now leading investigations of the events. Davis confirmed that three people were killed in today's blasts.

CNN is reporting that one of the victims killed was an 8-year-old boy. The Wall Street Journal had reported that as many as five other unexploded devices were found around Boston, but investigators now doubt that they were actually bombs.
