United Way Campaign Seeks To Help Kids In Need
55 children in the St. Cloud area were homeless last night. This is just one statistic released by the United Way of Central Minnesota recently. On Monday, they launched a month-long campaign called "Taking Care Of Our Kids." The goal is to meet their annual fundraising goal of 3.66 million dollars.
“Walk Like MADD” Against Drunk Driving
St. Cloud Mothers Against Drunk Driving is getting ready for its annual "Walk Like MADD" event. The St. Cloud area walk was started by Julie Blank, whose daughter Krysta was killed by a drunk driver in 2006. The 5K walk will take place later this summer, and tomorrow, you can support it by attending a kick-off fundraising event.
