Minnesota is natioanlly known for being a charitable state, but tough economic times have limited how much people can give to non profits. A new report released last week by the Minnesota Council on Foundations says individual, foundation and corporate donations to non profits dropped by nearly ten percent in the 2009-2010 fiscal year.
You can make a difference in another part of the world right here in central Minnesota. That's the idea behind "200 Orphanages Worldwide," a grassroots organization started in 2007 that raises money for projects in developing countries.
