The Minnesota Vikings released their complete 2019 schedule Wednesday night. The slate includes five prime time games.

According to multiple reports the Vikings have agreed to sign Sean Mannion to a 1-year contract to be their backup quarterback behind starter Kirk Cousins. Mannion was a 2015 3rd round draft pick by the Rams.

Kline, who has started 64 of his 79 career games, started 46 times for the Titans since 2016.

The Minnesota Vikings exercised the 2020 contract option on head coach Mike Zimmer Wednesday morning. Zimmer's contract was previously set to expire after the upcoming 2019 season.

DeFilippo joined the Vikings after two seasons as quarterbacks coach with the Philadelphia Eagles, including the 2017 season in which the Eagles won the Super Bowl.
