A 2nd encampment has been spotted in St. Cloud across from the old Sauk Rapids bridge on the Stearns County side of the Mississippi River. Three to 4 tents have been located there as recently as Sunday.
Sartell doesn't have any major road projects planned for 2024 but Mayor Ryan Fitzthum indicates 2025 will be a different story. He says in 2025 they are planning the westside reconstruct which is the area by the high school football field, Dezurik area, and this includes some of the oldest roads and infrastructure in the community.

The Paramount Theatre for the Arts is opening their 2023-2024 season Friday night with the Kings of Queen. Gretchen Boulka is the Executive Director for the Paramount. She indicates they view Friday's show as the opening show for the season despite the Blind Boys of Alabama performing earlier this month because that show had to be rescheduled because they had to cancel last year.
St. Cloud Police are reporting a stolen Harley Davidson motorcycle on the 15th of September. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crimestoppers says it is a Harley Davidson XL883 with Minnesota license 2639MK. It is white and blue in color.
Duck hunting season starts Saturday in Minnesota. Glen Schmitt from Outdoor News joined me on WJON. He says waterfowl hunting in Minnesota and in North America is down and has been moving that direction for quite awhile.
The Sartell Police Department are reporting a pair of frauds. One happened on Oak Pond Drive where someone was scammed out of $15,000. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crimestoppers says when the victim was on their computer the victim says the screen went out of control and indicated they had been hacked.

I have been a victim of a scam on facebook. The facebook page "jaycaldwellmorningshow" was not setup by me or WJON and is an imposter page. This scam asks people to register by giving their information and claims they have won a cash prize.
