The job market continues to be a job seeker market in the St. Cloud area. That according to Talent Director Gail Cruikshank from the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation.

St. Nicholas is an unincorporated community in Luxemburg Township in Stearns County. The community is south of Cold Spring, west of Marty and north of Watkins. St. Nicholas falls within the ROCORI school district.

We've had a stretch of warmer than normal temperatures in Central Minnesota recently but that is not the case in Alaska. There is a reason for this according to Meteorologist Megan Mulford from the National Weather Service in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

A year ago in mid November in Central Minnesota we had 4 inches of snow on the ground, high temperatures were in the teens and ice was forming on area lakes. We are a far cry from that in November of 2023 with temps in the 40s, 50s and 60s this week, no snow on the ground and open water fishing continues.

The St. Cloud Police Department are reporting numerous stolen vehicles. The first was on the 1400 block of 14th Avenue North. The vehicle is a dark blue Chevy Sonic with Minnesota License plate DLD 405.

Eden Valley-Watkins football is 11-0 heading into Friday's Class 2-A State Semifinal game against Cannon Falls at 11:30 a.m. at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Eagles defeated Moose Lake-Willow River 60-0 in the state quarterfinals at Forest Lake High School last week to get to this point.

We are nearing the end of 2023 and the amount of traffic fatalities in the state is concerning. The Minnesota Department of Transportation are reporting 339 traffic fatalities so far in 2023.

Bowlus is a town of 279 people that was settled in the early 1900s, platted in 1907 and became incorporated in 1910. Bowlus has had an operating post office since 1907, a lumberyard, meat market, hair salon, restaurant, gas station, liquor store, boutique, fire department, park with bike trail going through it, Legion, and Catholic Church.

Rockville is a town of 2,448 people in Central Minnesota south and west of St. Cloud located in the southeastern portion of Stearns County. Rockville was originally platted in 1856 and named for granite rock formations on nearby streams.

St. Anna is a small town tucked between St. Anna, Holdingford and Albany in Central Minnesota. The town is unincorporated and located along County Roads 9 and 154 in Stearns County.
