Royalton is a small town in Central Minnesota between Rice and Little Falls along Highway 10 and the Platte River residing in both Morrison and Benton Counties with a population of 1,281. Most of Royalton is in Morrison County.

The Sartell Police Department are reporting a theft on 19th Avenue North where officers were called to a construction site. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crimestoppers says a contractor indicates an unknown party stole 4 heavy duty batteries out of a forklift at a job site.

Warmer than normal temperatures over the past month has caused a major setback for the ice fishing season in Minnesota. Glen Schmitt from Outdoor News joined me on WJON. He says ice locally is either not there or not safe.

The Granite City Classic boys and girls basketball event returns to the St. Cloud area today-Saturday. The 2-day event is put on by Breakdown Sports USA for the 13th straight year. Justin Hegna of Breakdown Sports joined me on WJON.
