CentraCare Spokesman Dr. George Morris joined me on WJON today. He's says their positive Covid-19 patients at St. Cloud Hospital and within CentraCare is down. He goes on to say for the first time in a longtime they have less than 40 positive Covid-19 patients at St. Cloud Hospital and they have just a "hand full" of patients in the ICU.

The new guidelines will allow each adult patient to have one healthy adult visitor. Minor patients will be allowed to have two adult visitors.

CentraCare's Dr. George Morris says all residents – even those who have been vaccinated – need to continue following all COVID-19 spread mitigation recommendations in coming months.

The St. Cloud-based health system says the number of people interested in being vaccinated is “encouraging,” but they can only administer shots to certain groups right now due to a limited supply of vaccine.
