Man Sentenced for St. Cloud Home Invasion, Assault

A man who earlier pleaded guilty to breaking into a St. Cloud home and beating a man has been sentenced in Stearns County Court. Twenty-two-year-old Corey Becker of Grand Rapids will spend over 12 years in prison for First Degree Attempted Murder and Kidnapping.

Two people have been arrested in connection to the murder of a St. Cloud man. The Mille Lacs Band Tribal Police Department says they've arrested two suspects, however their names have not been released.

Kimball Area Public Schools were placed on a brief lockdown this morning (Thursday). Kimball Superintendent Jim Wagner says they received a call from the Stearns County Sheriff's Office just after 10:00 a.m. that police were looking for person with a gun in the area.
