Shed Near Paynesville Damaged By Fire

A shed on a farmplace near Paynesville was on fire last (Tuesday) night. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says a deputy noticed the fire at about 11:00 p.m. while on patrol. The shed fire was along Highway 55, about four miles west of Paynesville.

A home in western Stearns County has been destroyed by fire. The Sheriff says the fire was reported at about 3:45 p.m. yesterday (Thursday) in Crow River Township, southeast of Belgrade.

The driver was sleeping in the sleeper of the semi when he woke up to find the fire inside the cab and escaped without injury
