The Weekender is full of comedians. Steve-O, Adrian Washington, and C. Willi Myles will all be performing this Saturday in St. Cloud. But if you want something different than a comedy act, there's plenty more to do in The Weekender

This weekend we start the year long celebration of Art Crawls in downtown St. Cloud. Saint John's Prep is also hitting the stage with the Broadway musical Oliver. A Grammy award winning string quartet is making appearances in schools, a fundraiser, and a concert, while the CSB/SJU Theatre Departments once again take to the stage.

The first Art Crawl of 2015 will be held this Friday in downtown St. Cloud from 5 - 9 p.m. This is also the kick off for the 10th year of Art Crawls in St. Cloud. There are some special things planned for this year's crawls.

The Weekender features a St. Patrick's Day celebration. Dance and celebrate the Irish holiday with Little Fall's own Battlelegs. Steel Magnolias is also is hitting the stage this weekend, and you can catch a ballet that's in town for one night.

Pioneer Place Theatre Company is bringing a 1989 film to life. Steel Magnolias follows six women as they tell stories and gossip in their small Louisiana town salon. When tragedy strikes, the relationships the women forged help them through the hard times.

Steel Magnolia's is coming to Pioneer Place on Friday, March 13th! We interviewed Dan Barth (far right) from Pioneer Place today and talked with his special guest.

Minnesota Native comedian Bob Larson makes a stop in St. Cloud, as well as American Folk band The Kingston Trio. This weekend also pays tribute to one of the members of The Beatles.

This weekend is full of tributes to great musicians, including Simon & Garfunkel, and Elton John. There is also a performance by two great musicians on violin, and piano, along with much more in The Weekender.

GREAT Children's Theatre presents Babe, The Sheep Pig at Steven B. Humphrey Theater on the campus of Saint John's University. Director Aimee Miron says it’s a heart-warming tale of family, friendship, and manners. The show hits the stage this weekend, and runs through March 8th.

Creative Minnesota and the Minnesota State Arts Board have released the numbers in the economic impact study the arts have on Minnesota. Central Minnesota, region 7W, is one of the leaders when it comes to the arts between the eleven regions.
