Cat Banned from Library Develops Social Media Following
ST. PAUL (AP) - A tabby cat named Max who apparently enjoys the warm confines of a St. Paul college library has developed quite a following on social media after he was banned from the building by librarians.
Max has been sneaking into the library at Macalester College when someone opens the door. The evidence is right there on surveillance video. Max can be seen scampering about the bookshelves. He's been barred from the building with a wanted-type poster which tells library users not to let him in. ``Please do not let in the cat'' the poster reads.
The cat conundrum blew up on Twitter and Reddit where people have been posting Max-inspired artwork. Someone even made a library card for the cat, whose owner says has been grounded for wayward behavior.
