Caroline Emma Anderson, age 100, of Foley passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Foley Nursing Home. Caroline was born on August 22, 1913 in Princeton, MN the daughter of Louie and Emma (Hamann) Saxon.

Caroline was born and grew up in the Princeton area. She was united in marriage to Roy Earl Anderson on December 27, 1930 in Princeton. To this union, 7 children were born. The couple moved to the Twin Cities where they raised their family. Caroline enjoyed going dancing with Roy, growing flowers and socializing. Caroline was very caring and always made sure that everybody was taken care of. Most recently she enjoyed playing kickball, bingo, doing crafts and spending time with family at the Foley Nursing Home.

Caroline is survived by her children, Angeline Linquist, Elaine (Craig) Herman, Pamela Urman and Jerry (Jeanne) Anderson; daughter-in-law, Jill Anderson; one brother Bill (Jackie) Saxon and many grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roy; children, Mavis, Marlene and Roy Dennis; 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
