Carol V. Nelson, 73, Rutledge, GA and formerly of St. Cloud

Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud for Carol V. Nelson, age 73, of Rutledge, GA and formerly of St. Cloud. Carol passed away July 1 in Georgia. Pastor David Fogal will officiate. Burial will take place in Benton County Cemetery in Sauk Rapids. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Monday and one hour prior to services on Tuesday, both at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Carol was born October 19, 1941 in St. Cloud to Leo M. and Florence E. (Dieger) Thompson. She married David P. Nelson on September 17, 1988 in St. Cloud. They lived near South Haven for many years.

Carol is survived by her daughter Mary (Ron) Taylor of Rutledge, GA, grandchildren Tasha (Adrian) Mendoza and Robert (Kerry) Taylor, great grandchildren Jordan and Alexis Veasley and Justin Taylor and brother Jerry (Joanne) Thompson of St. Cloud.

Preceding Carol in death were her parents, husband David, brother Larry Thompson and sister Edith Czech.
