Carol Ann Rice, 70, St. Cloud

September 19, 1946 - December 23, 2017

Funeral services will be 11:00 Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at St. Cloud Church of Christ at 2950 County Road 136 in St. Cloud for Carol Rice who died Friday at the St. Cloud Hospital with her family surrounding her. Jeb Gainey will officiate and burial will be at Sylvan Cemetery in rural Howard Lake. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church in St. Cloud. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Carol was born September 19, 1946 in Brainerd to Floyd & Evelyn (Lindberg) Maxfield. She married Dennis Rice on June 19, 1966 in Tofte Minnesota. She worked in the pricing department at Cub Food and later Cash Wise Foods in St. Cloud until her retirement in 2010. She is a member of St. Cloud Church of Christ. Carol was all about her family. She loved spending time with them, especially on holidays and birthdays when they would all get together. She also enjoyed spending time reading and spending time outdoors in nature as well as taking trips and traveling.

Survivors include her husband Dennis of St. Cloud; children, Scott of St. Cloud; David of Waite Park; Susan (Jeb) Gainey of Little Falls; 3 grandchildren, Vickie ( Jon) Welle, Austin Rice, Emmett Gainey, great grandchildren, Shyann, Liberty and Logan Welle. She is also survived by her sisters and brother, Joanne (Dale) Haukland, Bonnie (Bill) Mullin, Pixie (Jim) Ikola, and Wayne Maxfield.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Roger Maxfield and daughter in law, Tawny Rice.
