Carl Wredberg, age 88, of Princeton, went home to be with “ma” (his wife, Betsey) on March 16, 2016.

He was born a middle child on March 31, 1927 in North Branch Township to Philip and Esther (Danielson) Wredberg. Growing up Carl worked on the family farm with his father, which sparked his interest in agriculture. He loved to play neighborhood baseball growing up eventually working up to a semi pro league. Carl married the love of his life, Betsey Fredrickson on June 13, 1953 at the Weber Church in North Branch. The couple built a home on Carl’s family farm and eventually moved the homestead to North Branch. He proudly served his country in the United States Army building roads in the mountains of Colorado from 1954 – 1956. Following his honorable discharge Carl began working at Peterson’s Mill and eventually became a Purina Salesman. In 1968 he managed and owned the feed mill in Princeton. After his “retirement “from the feed mill, Carl worked various jobs and most recently at Westlings. Carl was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Princeton and past member of Weber Church in North Branch. He was also a past member of the Princeton American Legion. Carl was 100% Swedish and proud of his Swedish heritage. He was patient, caring and had a cute infectious laugh. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
