TODD COUNTY - A vehicle rolled in Todd County on Thursday morning after a woman tried to avoid hitting a squirrel in the road.

The Todd County Sheriff's Office says Teri Terwilliger of Sauk Centre was traveling east on County Road 2, just past County Road 99, when a squirrel came from the shoulder of the road.

Terwilliger applied her brakes, slid sideways, went into the ditch and the vehicle rolled twice. Terwilliger was wearing a seatbelt and wasn't hurt. However, the vehicle was a total loss.

The incident happened just before 9:15 a.m.
