Car Hits Pedestrian in Waite Park

WAITE PARK - Waite Park Police responded to a car and pedestrian crash at 2nd Avenue South and 2nd Street South in Waite Park around 12:30 this afternoon.

According to witnesses, the car had a green light when 32-year-old Eric Gale of Waite Park ran out in front of the car.

Gale was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The driver, 36-year-old Aaron Sakkinen of St. Cloud was not hurt.
