Car Hits John’s Barber Shop in Foley

FOLEY - The Foley Police Department arrived at John's Barber shop at 9:30 a.m. today in response to a car that had driven into the front of the building.

The driver of the vehicle was 88-year-old Jerome Wagner of Foley. According to Foley Police as Wagner was backing out of a parking spot he turned too soon and hit another parked car.

Wagner then put the vehicle in drive and drove onto the side walk and into the front of the barber shop.
 
 
There were people inside the building at the time but no one was hurt. Wagner had no injuries and refused medical attention.

The accident is still under investigation.
