Car Crashes Into Hay Binder in Morrison County

LITTLE FALLS -- The Morrison County Sheriff's Office is reporting one of our first crashes involving farm equipment this fall.

Sheriff's officials say 41-year-old Gregory Holtz of Little Falls was driving a John Deere tractor and hay binder southbound on 125th Avenue Tuesday afternoon when an oncoming car struck the farm implement.

The driver of the car, 31-year-old Alicia Schmitt of Little Falls, suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls. Holtz complained of minor neck pain but refused medical treatment.

Both vehicles had severe damage.

The crash happened at 3:45 p.m. in Darling Township northwest of Little Falls.
