Byron Smith Murder Case to be Featured on National TV

UNDATED – The Byron Smith murder case is set to be featured on Dateline NBC on Friday night.

Smith was convicted on two counts of first degree murder and two counts of second degree murder in the shooting deaths of 18-year-old Haile Kifer and 17-year-old Nick Brady.  The teens were shot after they broke into Smith’s home on Thanksgiving Day 2012.

Staff from Dateline were at the trial and conducted interviews with both the prosecution and defense. Friends and family of Nick Brady and Haile Kifer are also expected to be interviewed on the episode.

The show will air at 7:00 p.m. CT on channel 11.
