ST. CLOUD - Area businesses that count on snow are optimistic the forecast for several inches of snow this weekend is correct.

Brian Techel is from North Central Truck and Equipment in St. Cloud.  They are a distributor of snowplows.  He says, if the snow starts to fall, their phones will start to ring.

Techel says, they're a distributor of snowplows  to retailers across the state, so as long as it snows somewhere in Minnesota this weekend, they should get some business.

Meanwhile, Greg Rakotz owns Seal King.  They move snow during the winter months.  He says snow this weekend would be "a very very nice thing".  He says they'll need a few inches of snow to go to work.

Rakotz says he's had to lay off a lot of his workers, because of the lack of snow so far.  Snow this weekend would allow them to come back to work and earn some money before Christmas.
