ST. CLOUD -- Hundreds of local business and community leaders are gathered at the River's Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud today for the 6th Annual Innovation Summit and Expo.

Microbiologics CEO Brad Goskowicz says businesses need to be innovative to be competitive in the global marketplace. He says the summit is a great way for companies to share their innovations with other businesses in the community.

More than 40 exhibits are on display and a panel of local leaders will share with the group how they addressed problem solving through innovative thinking.  Among them is Stearns County Attorney Janelle Kendall who is speaking on the Domestic Violence Partnership her office has created.

The Innovation Summit and Expo is sponsored by the Center for Nonprofit Excellence and Social Innovation and Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation.
