ST. CLOUD -- Central Minnesota businesses involved with the Bakken oil fields are encouraged to attend a meeting Thursday to talk about potential air service out of St. Cloud.

Patti Gartland is the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation President. She says many business either have to drive their employees out to western North Dakota or use charter flights which can be very costly.

Gartland says they are in the infancy stage of this effort and they're trying to reach all businesses who might be interested. She says one idea is to create a web portal where businesses can communicate and share flights.

The meeting is at the St. Cloud Regional Airport Thursday at 9:00 a.m. If you have questions, you can call the GSDC at 259-0300.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
