Bus Delays Cause Problems at Sauk Rapids-Rice Schools [AUDIO]

SAUK RAPIDS -- The Sauk Rapids-Rice school district has been experiencing bus delays over the past few days.

Delays have made parents concerned about their children's arrival and drop-off times.

Dan Bittman is the Superintendent for Sauk Rapids-Rice. He says the district is aware of the bus issue and feels they are starting to resolve it.

Bittman says only a handful of buses were late today (Thursday). The district has been working closely with the Metropolitan Transportation Network to put an end to the delays.

To help students arrive home from school on time additional staff has been provided to ride on the buses.

Bittman and district officials hope to have everything back to normal by next week.
